We're precise about verification. We never use a vague “verified” label — every badge on a cleaner's profile names exactly what was checked, and badges describe only the specific verification performed. They are not guarantees, and North Houston Cleaner Match does not employ, supervise, dispatch, or guarantee any cleaner.

What “New to the platform” means
Cleaners who haven't yet earned a platform review are shown as “New to the platform” rather than given a fabricated rating. This is a neutral label, not a warning — everyone starts here.
How reviews stay honest
Because we don't manage booking or payment, we use a two-step review process. After an introduction, we email the homeowner a secure, expiring link asking whether they hired the cleaner. Only after they confirm the cleaning occurred can they submit a review labeled Verified Platform Customer. Cleaners cannot delete unfavorable reviews, and both homeowners and cleaners can report a review for administrator moderation.
What we don't do yet
We do not collect or store government ID in this version of the platform. Our verification architecture is built to plug in a reputable third-party identity/background-check provider in the future without a rebuild.
